A born and raised country girl, Shaelyn grew up on an acreage just outside of Oyen, Alberta. She moved
to Calgary to attend Mount Royal’s Social Work program. She has been a practising Social Worker in
Calgary since 2008 working all through out the city supporting various communities, needs and
populations. When not working Shaelyn enjoys spending time with her family including her two children
and their family dog Charlie. She is an avid foodie and is always on the search for the next great YYC
bite. She and her husband enjoy golfing whenever possible and spending time at the lake with family.
She is an avid reader and daily dog walker in her community.
Real Estate has always been a passion and excitement in her life, and after buying and renovating her
own homes in the city the interest only deepened. Shaelyn joined Popowich & Company’s Expansion
team in early 2023 and over time it became apparent that the team was a great fit and Real Estate
would be her full-time pursuit.
Shaelyn is passionate about working with people and client delivery, from her time in Social Work she
has developed strong communication and organizational skills that will support clients in all their home
buying or selling needs. Shaelyn strives to ensure her clients have a stress-free experience that allows
them to enjoy the process with confidence. She has a passion for home design, flipping furniture and
trying new home trends.
